SBA Expected to Release Names of PPP Loan Recipients Thursday

Last week, we wrote that the SBA had announced it would publish the names of businesses who received a PPP loan larger than $150,000, in our article entitled: SBA To Publish Names of PPP Loan Recipients.

Fox Business is now reporting that the SBA is expected to release that information this Thursday, July 2, 2020, according to an administration source, in an article which can be found here. 

Given prior backlash against companies that received PPP loans, all recipients should be prepared with an external and internal communications plan to discuss the receipt of loan funds this week.
