Artificial Intelligence and the Law

Event

With Western common law legislative systems closely intertwined, legislative changes in the U.S. can have a ripple effect in the United Kingdom (and vice-versa). The imposition of the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) may very well trigger a U.S. response over the course of the coming years. To understand the current and future impact of AI on the legal industry and fulfill their ethical obligations, legal professionals need an understanding of how AI tools work and the benefits and risks of using AI.

This seminar will provide a functional understanding of AI, comparisons of outlooks in the E.U./U.K. and the United States, and discussions on potential reforms and what the future holds for AI and the law.

Who Should Attend?

Law firm lawyers, in-house lawyers, general counsel, and other legal professionals interested in broadening their knowledge on the intersection of AI and the law.
