Burke Warren Welcomes New Attorney Jolisa Warmack

Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C., a full service Chicago-based law firm, is pleased to announce that Jolisa Warmack has joined the firm as an associate.* Ms. Warmack is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group with a focus on business litigation and commercial matters.

Ms. Warmack earned her law degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign College of Law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Language Literature from Eastern Michigan University. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a judicial extern for Chief Judge Sara Darrow for the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois. She also served as a policy intern for Janee Ayers, At-Large Council Member, for the Detroit City Council. She also served as an executive member of the Black Law Student Association and was a Women’s Law Society Mentor to 1L students. 

Ms. Warmack participated in the Burke Warren inaugural Fall 2021 3L Minority Internship Program. Upon successful completion of the Program she subsequently accepted an offer to join the firm as a first year associate. The Program is designed to enhance the legal careers of underrepresented racially diverse third-year law (3L) students by providing practical law firm experience as the participants begin a rewarding career in the field of law. In addition to providing participants with “hands on” work experience, the program seeks to establish lifelong professional relationships and nurture leadership skills.
