Burke Warren Welcomes New Attorney Adrian Atwater
Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C., a full service Chicago-based law firm, is pleased to announce that Adrian Atwater has joined the firm as an associate.* Mr. Atwater is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group with a focus on business litigation and commercial matters.
Mr. Atwater earned his law degree at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Legal Studies from Aquinas College. He served as a legal intern at the Chicago Housing Authority Office of the General Counsel. He also served as a prosecution legal intern for the City of Chicago Department of Law (Buildings & License Enforcement).
Mr. Atwater participated in the Burke Warren inaugural Fall 2021 3L Minority Internship Program. Upon successful completion of the Program he subsequently accepted an offer to join the firm as a first year associate. The Program is designed to enhance the legal careers of underrepresented racially diverse third-year law (3L) students by providing practical law firm experience as the participants begin a rewarding career in the field of law. In addition to providing participants with “hands on” work experience, the program seeks to establish lifelong professional relationships and nurture leadership skills.
