Morgan Hess is an Associate at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. She is a member of the Firm's Litigation practice group.

Morgan earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in Criminology and Law Studies from Marquette University, with a double minor in Writing Intensive English and Sociology, in 2016. She then earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, cum laude, in 2019.

During law school, Morgan was a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing & Analysis and Introduction to Advocacy courses. Morgan was a writer for the Illinois Bar Journal and editor for the Elder Law Journal. She also was a peer advisor for the incoming 1L class in 2017 and a Women’s Law Society Mentor for 1L students.

Prior to joining the Firm, Morgan was an extern for the Honorable Debra B. Walker in the Circuit Court of Cook County and authored several articles on diversity in the legal profession for the Illinois State Bar Association’s August 2017 Bench and Bar publication and the Illinois State Bar Association’s September 2017 publication of The Public Servant. Morgan was a summer associate at the Burke Warren in 2018.
