Adair Macauley is an Associate at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. Adair concentrates her practice in the areas of contracts, real estate transactions, condominium law and litigation, and has successfully represented associations in actions for collections, enforcement of governing documents and contracts, bankruptcy hearings, City of Chicago Municipal Code violation hearings, actions for injunctive and declaratory relief, and appeals up to the Supreme Court of Illinois.
Adair’s vast litigation background, specifically in condominium law, allows her to regularly provide advice and guidance to condominium association boards of directors on an array of topics, including contracts, dispute resolution, enforcing, drafting, and amending governing documents and rules/regulations, meeting procedures, assessment collections, foreclosures, and bankruptcies. In addition, Adair regularly assists in the drafting, reviewing, interpreting and negotiation of commercial office and retail leases. Adair takes great care to develop client relationships, and she ensures that clients are kept informed and fully understand the proceedings.
While in law school, Adair was an editor of the journal for Women, Gender, and the Law and the Vice- President of the Animal Law Society and Recruitment Chair for the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.
