Ahmed Kosoko is a Partner at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. and member of the Firm’s Litigation group. Ahmed is a seasoned litigator who brings twenty years of experience guiding clients through a wide range of disputes and investigations.
Ahmed’s practice is emphasized in the areas of commercial litigation, general tort litigation, municipal liability, civil rights, criminal law and white-collar defense, constitutional law, and appellate practice. He leads clients through all phases of complex litigation with a primary focus on obtaining favorable results while prioritizing efficiency. Ahmed’s clients recognize his effectiveness in the courtroom and value his ability to bring clarity to complex issues, thereby assisting judges and juries in understanding the highly technical issues often at the core of his cases.
Prior to joining Burke Warren, Ahmed founded Kosoko Law Group in Chicago, utilizing his experience in municipal law, governmental liability, criminal law, and general negligence to deliver practical and effective in-house counsel services to his clients. Additionally, Ahmed served as an Assistant Appellate Defender, Assistant State’s Attorney, and was also appointed as Special Assistant Corporate Counsel, working as outside counsel for the City of Chicago in the Civil Rights Division.
